REVIEW! Annabelle's Look!

Annabelle's Look

This is the first Annabelle's product that I have tried and this Look! bar was kindly sent to me to review by American Soda who are specialists in American Candy, Food and Drink.

A Look! is a bar of nougat with peanuts covered in rich dark chocolate. It weighs 42g and contains 190 calories. I must admit that I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I read the description on the bar on the American Soda website. I think that I was expecting something like a Snickers so I was surprised by it's flat appearance. It's not the best looking bar and I think it got bashed about in the post a bit as a lot of the chocolate had cracked.

Annabelle's Look

The nougat is quite chewy in comparison to the stuff that I am used to like in a Snickers or Mars. It's more like taffy in texture and this meant that it lasted a long time which is good because it was pretty tasty. The dark chocolate wasn't bad and I think without it the bar would have been a little boring, but when it's all put together like this, it works well.

Verdict
Look! is a strangely named bar and a strange texture too but I quite liked it. I shared one of these with Mr Review Addict and even just half lasted ages so it's good if you want a peanut butter and chocolate fix but don't want a shed load of calories. Look! is available from American Soda for £1.09.

  1. This reminds me of the toffee finger sweets you get in quality sweet tins.(AKA the things everyone leaves)

  2. I reckon this is one of the most eye catching wrappers I've ever seen - a great name if ever there was one imo!
